LATEST RESEARCH AT MORTIMER MARKET
The Bloomsbury Clinic at Mortimer Market is a major research centre. Many of our doctors are also involved in research at University College London Medical School and our patients are currently taking part in over twenty studies – including:
- RIVER study – which is looking into a functional cure and which has made headlines around the world (Guardian Article).
- PARTNER study – does undetectable really mean no transmission? So far there are 1200 couples on the trial – one who is negative, one who is positive on medication – and they have now had over 58,000 sexual acts without a condom. What is the latest news from the trial?
