David Stuart was responsible for managing and developing London Friend’s education, training and outreach services. David had been instrumental in promoting understanding and good practice in the field of LGBT substance use and developed new care pathways for the emerging trends of Methamphetamine, Mephedrone and GHB/GBL use within the NHS, DAATS, Third Sector.

David is the Lead Substance Abuse Adviser and runs 56 Dean Street’s Code Clinic: A sexual health clinic for gay men into the harder sex scene, and/or who use drugs for sex (ChemSex). He’s also developed the Dean Street Wellbeing programme, to promote discussion and debate and engage our community to promote good sexual health and sexual wellbeing.
