On Sunday 27th November, you can run for World AIDS Day in Victoria Park, by entering to run or walk the 5km RedRun organised by Positive East, fitness permitting you can also double up to a 10km route (map pdf), £15 entry goes to cover the costs of organising the event; free t-shirt, chip timing, race number, and refreshments.
Online registration is available up to the 24th November, race-day registration is from 11:30am, with the Run officially starting at 12:15pm.
Then set up your own fundraising page on JustGiving and select a charity to raise money for, either Positive East who have organised this event (now in it’s 7th year), or if your prefer you can also chose to run for any of the many other event partners; 56 Dean Street, The Food Chain, GMFA, Metro Charity, Mildmay Hospital, NAT (National AIDS Trust), NAZ, Positively UK, Spectra, StopAIDS, THT.
Set your fundraising target for as much as you think you can raise, last year the run raised £21k for charities.
