- Doors open to community event
- View stalls, AIDS Quilt and Oral History Exhibition
- Free food, drinks and snacks provided
1:00 p.m.
- First film showing- AIDS: DOCTORS & NURSES TELL THEIR STORIES
- Honest testimony from those who cared for Britain’s first AIDS patients in the 1980’s
1:30 p.m.
- Panel-led discussion about PrEP
2:30 p.m.
- Further food, drinks and snacks provided
3:00 p.m.
- Second film showing – 30 YEARS OF LIVING WITH HIV
- Looking at the impact of the HIV prevention campaign of the 1980’s by all those involved, including those who were not expected to survive
3.30 p.m.
- Participatory Workshop
- The 1980’s public health campaign ‘Don’t die or ignorance, don’t die of AIDS’
4.00 p.m.
- A guided tour of the UK AIDS quilt
- Info and Q&A about the different AIDS quilt panels displayed around the Positive East building

- Community event ends
The building will remain open until 9.00 p.m. should people wish to come along later and view the AIDS Quilt
